Meera's Festival Fun: Meera is a little elephant who celebrates Pongal, Diwali, Makar Eid, Holi, and many other festivals across India. Each festival is colourful and unique in its own way. Writer and illustrator Chadha does a great job of exploring festivals throughout the year in India. The illustrations are very appealing to little readers, and the colours are calming and beautiful. I like how she simplifies festivals that are out little readers can understand and make sense of the different festivals across India. A nice board book that is perfect for all ages! As an educator, I would use this book in my classroom at the primary level.

Such an informative book for kids with a fun way to learn about our festivals! Love the colours, rhyming words and creativity brought into it while making it enjoyable for both the parents and the kids 🙂
